Cavallo Prime: Ferrari Supercar Transforms into Battle-Ready Autobot

A red Ferrari luxury supercar tears through winding mountain roads before coming to a dramatic halt and undergoing a full Transformer-style metamorphosis into Cavallo Prime – a fierce, battle-ready robot warrior. Inspired by classic Autobot designs and the iconic Prancing Horse, this short cinematic experiment blends high-end 3D rendering with cutting-edge generative AI.

Started with 4 still renders created in Unreal Engine 5 using Path Tracer for photorealistic lighting, materials, and details on the Ferrari model. These became the foundation for Google's Veo 3.1 (Image-to-Video) – my first large-scale push with the tool – animating the cruise, stop, and transformation sequence. The robot form was generated directly by Veo, then refined and polished with Nano Banana for improved consistency, proportions, mechanical details, and overall badass factor.

Original epic soundtrack composed with Suno AI. Final assembly, color grading, sound design, and polish done in DaVinci Resolve.

While a few continuity artifacts and morph inconsistencies appear (hey, it's a transforming robot – chaos is part of the charm 😏), the result demonstrates how rapidly AI tools, combined with traditional 3D workflows, can bring ambitious concepts to life without massive teams or budgets.
